Relaxation and inspiration – visit the Vegetarian for Life Mature Zone Vegfest London, 10–11 October 2015, Kensington Olympia For the first time ever, London Vegfest will feature a Mature Zone hosted by Vegetarian for Life. Aimed at older visitors to Europe’s largest vegan event, the Mature Zone will offer a place to pause for a rest, some enthusiastic expert speakers, and a fascinating range of activities. A visit to the Mature Zone should leave everyone feeling refreshed and enthused. Vegfest London takes place on the 10 and 11 October at Kensington Olympia. Talks in the Mature Zone on Level 1 will run from 12–4pm on the Saturday and 11am–4pm on the Sunday. Topics range from the benefits of adopting a plant-based diet in your golden years to simply inspiring meals for one and an informal chat about green funerals. One of the most popular activities is bound to be the veggie speed-dating session for seniors – full of fun, humour and well organised. Pre-booking is essential. Who knows, you may leave Vegfest with more than your usual collection of vegan goodies! The event will also see the launch of ‘Vintage’, our new magazine aimed at older vegetarians and vegans. The content and style of the magazine is based on eBites, our extremely popular online publication. The Mature Zone is the brainchild of VfL Director, Amanda Woodvine who commented, “The astonishing popularity of Vegfest events means that older visitors are often looking for somewhere to have a rest and recharge their batteries. The Mature Zone offers them the perfect blend of seating, refreshments and inspiring talks and activities. We’re delighted to host this Zone in London, and also at Vegfest Scotland on the 5th and 6th December.” To view the schedule of activities in full, please visit: www.london.vegfest.co.uk/mature-zone
