Waldorf Salad

​*Use vegan mayonnaise to make this dish vegan.

Time to prepare: 15 mins
Dietary requirements: Halal, Kosher, Vegan (with substitutions)

Ingredients

  • 1 head of celery
  • 1 large sweet apple, peeled and chopped
  • 50g/2oz walnuts, chopped
  • 50g/2oz chopped dates
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise*

Instructions

  1. Remove the outer stalks of celery and finely chop the remainder.
  2. Add the apple, walnuts and onion.
  3. Mix well with the mayonnaise.
