Ingredients
- 100g red lentils
- The tomato sauce from a 420g tin of baked beans
- 1 tsp tomato purée
Instructions
- Place the lentils into a pan and cover with water. Cook for 15 minutes or until the lentils have completely broken down.
- Sieve the beans to separate the sauce from the beans (the discarded beans can be used in another dish).
- Cook until the correct consistency is achieved. If a little thin add a little more tomato purée. Set to one side.
