Cooked Breakfast – Sausages (texture modified)

IDDSI LEVEL 5 MINCED AND MOIST

Sausages, scrambled tofu, hash browns, beans and tomato

Serves: 4
Time to prepare: 40 mins
Time to cook: 30 mins
Dietary requirements: Dairy-free, Egg-free, Vegan, Texture-modified meals

Ingredients

  • 4 vegan sausages (both Quorn Brilliant Bangers and Richmond Meat-Free sausages work well)

Instructions

  1. Place the vegan sausages into a pan of water and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. If using Richmond meat-free sausages peel off the skin.
  3. Chop the sausages into 4mm pieces then re-form into sausage shapes.
  4. For a darker colour, poach in vegan gravy.
