Ingredients

  • 100g/3½oz vegan butter
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 250g/8¾oz vegan digestive biscuits, roughly crushed
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 50g/1¾oz sultanas
  • 150g/5¼oz vegan chocolate

Instructions

  1. Line a tray roughly 20cm by 20cm (8 inches by 8 inches) with non-stick paper.
  2. Gently melt the butter with the golden syrup.
  3. Add the biscuits, cocoa powder and sultanas.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in your tray and press down firmly with the back of a spoon.
  5. Gently melt the chocolate then spread over the biscuit base. Place into the fridge until set (around 45 minutes). When set, slice and enjoy!
