Herby Sunflower Pudding

Dietary requirements: Dairy-free, Halal, Kosher, Vegan (with substitutions)

Ingredients

  • 175g/6oz wholewheat breadcrumbs
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 115g/4oz sunflower seeds
  • 300ml/0.5 pint milk or soya mik
  • 60g/2.5oz sunflower margarine
  • 2 tsp mixed herbs
  • Sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the breadcrumbs, onion and seeds together.
  2. Heat the milk and margarine until the margarine is melted, and mix with the crumbs.
  3. Pour into a greased casserole and bake for 1 hour in oven at 150°C/300°F/gas mark 2.
