Dietary requirements: Dairy-free, Egg-free, Halal, Kosher, Vegan (with substitutions)
Ingredients
- 5 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup soya flour
- 1 cup ground nuts
- 1 cup dessicated coconut
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup sunflower oil
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup honey (or maple syrup for vegans)
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients, except the raisins, in a mixing bowl.
- Turn into a baking tin and cook at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 for about 40 minutes, turning several times, until crisp.
- Cool and then add raisins. Store in an airtight container.
Note: a cup of wheat or rye or barley flakes can be added to this recipe.
