Vegetarian for Life Roving Chef Ollie recently delivered an online cookery demonstration to volunteers of the Royal Voluntary Service. The demonstration was one of a regular session held by Ollie for the organisation's Virtual Village Hall, and has since gained more than 1,000 views.
Royal Voluntary Service provides care to thousands of older and housebound people. The organisation was originally founded almost 90 years ago as the Women's Voluntary Service.
Ollie demonstrated delicious plant-based recipes for the colder months, including a chestnut roast with onion gravy and poached pears with maple soft cheese. The latter featured a vegan soft cheese spiced with cinnamon and cardamom.
